At a time when the lithium mining project in the Jadar Valley continues to attract significant public attention, the scientific community presents research findings and expert analyses based on facts.
On Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, a presentation will be held for two scientific monographs examining the lithium mining project in the Jadar Valley.
The audience will have the opportunity to hear the results of the research and expert opinions from authors across various scientific fields, exploring the potential ecological, biological, technological, and socio-economic impacts of the project. The monographs provide an overview of the chemical and technical aspects of jadarite, examine potential effects on biodiversity and human health, and address questions of economic feasibility and societal implications.
